Parlez-Vous? Let’s Chat! This month we’re diving into the journey of coffee, from tree to cup, while practicing French in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. Through conversation and hands-on experiences, you’ll learn about coffee culture while connecting with others. Join us from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on May 14 at 409 Jacques- Cartier Street South in Saint-Jean for a fun, informal conversation centred around all things coffee. Take part in one of our upcoming Potting Workshops and create your own beautiful planter filled with an herb, a flowering plant, and a decorative “spiller”. Join us on either May 28 or June 4 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Greenfield Park (address to be provided closer to the date). Plants and materials will be provided, however, participants must bring a pot (approximately 10–12 inches wide and 12–14 inches high, with a drainage hole). On June 2, we will have a special Ocean Presentation by scuba diver and ocean life enthusiast Gail Adams. Gail will lead a presentation about the ocean, sharing her knowledge and experiences exploring marine environments and highlighting the importance and beauty of ocean life. ARC is hosting a free outdoor mentorship and athletics event for youth ages 6–17 and their families on June 13 from 2–4:30 p.m. at Empire Park in Greenfield Park. Local coaches and community organizations will lead multi-station activities focused on teamwork, confidence and life skills, with community resource kiosks available for families. Community Health Day is open to all fitness levels with bilingual support. Limited spots available. Registered participants will be entered into prize draws including Habs tickets and athletic gear.
