We are in the process of creating an online interactive map indicating public and private establishments that provide health and social services in English for the Montérégie territory. We need help doing outreach to community organizations, to contact them and ask what services they offer in English so we can list them directly on our website. Kind of like the 211 map… but only listing English services.
Position Title: Community Services Mapper
Employer: The Assistance and Referral Centre for Health and Social Services (ARC)
ARC is non-profit organization promoting access to health and social services in English in the Montérégie territory.
Position Summary: The Interactive Community Services Map will be an up-to-date online resource that will benefit the English-speaking community; including, service providers, community organizations, and the general public. This project is a highly collaborative effort that will build links between many community partners.
Duties: Research organizations and resources in the Montérégie territory that provide any type of health and social services in English; email correspondence; telephone correspondence; data entry
o Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and French;
o Proficiency working online with Google drive, docs, Gmail; MS Word and Excel;
o Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
o Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Timeframe: March – April
Site: Working from home, must have access to a telephone, computer and internet
