Complaints from patients rose by 3.5 per cent in the year since the new McGill University Health Centre superhospital opened, the MUHC reported Tuesday night. It was the biggest increase in patient complaints in three years. The MUHC reported a total of 1,360 complaints in 2015-2016.

Ombudsman Lynn Casgrain has stated that “The more complaints you have in a system, the better it is and the more likely you are able to improve.”
