You are not going to want to miss this one! This year’s keynote speaker Albert Nerenberg says that “If you are what you eat, maybe you are what you act!” Nerenberg is an award-winning film director, journalist, entertaining speaker and one of the world’s top experts on laughter. He directed the acclaimed feature documentary Laughology, is a founder of the American Laughing Championships and works as a Laughologist teaching new laughter techniques to groups all over the world.
This annual health promotion event has proven to be an important one for our English-speaking communities across the Monteregie South-Shore territory because it brings together more than 40 community and public health network partners who showcase services that are available to English-speakers in throughout our communities.
This event is sponsored by the Assistance and Referral Center for Health and Social Servies (ARC), a non-profit community organization that supports and promotes the continued access to health and social services available in English as well working toward having an increase in the range of services available in Montreal’s South Shore communities.
Each year, the annual Health Promotion Fair is chalk full of information, tips, tools, and health and social services resources for all ages. It is also a rich networking opportunity that is much appreciated by our community organizations and public health network partners alike because this is the one time when everyone is in the place at the same time.
Admission and parking are free.
If you are interested in helping out at the event, extra hands are always welcome to help set up, clean up, and greet and direct visitors.
The 3rd Annual Health Promotion Fair is organized by ARC in collaboration with the Montérégie English-speaking Regional Health and Social Services Partnerships Table and is made possible with Health Canada funding through the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN).
See you there!
